PROJECT SUPERVISOR AT ECLAT HR CONSULTING | PROJECT SUPERVISOR JOBS IN LAGOS

Lagos, Nigeria | Posted on 18/05/2026

About Company:

Eclat HR is a progressive Human Resource Management Firm with its Headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria. We are a team of professionals from various field of study who have come together to build ECLAT HUMAN RESOURCE CONSULTING serving clients across the nation. Our portfolio represents a team of problem solvers.

Job Description:

We are seeking an analytically rigorous, technically sound, and highly disciplined Telecommunications Project Supervisor to lead our network infrastructure deployments, tower installations, and site operations across Lagos. In this critical field-management role, you will take full operational ownership of translating complex telecommunications schematics and deployment plans into high-performing physical network sites.

You will bridge the gap between high-level project management and rugged, on-site technical execution. This position demands a leader who can map out project schedules on MS Project, manage asset budgets, and immediately pivot to commanding tower crews, conducting Technical Site Surveys (TSS), enforcing HSE safety compliance at heights, and troubleshooting live equipment configurations on the field.

Requirements:

1. Project Architecture & Resource Synchronization

  • Deployment Scheduling: Formulate comprehensive project schedules, critical path milestones, and task allocations using professional project management tools to ensure timelines are met.

  • Resource Optimization: Coordinate and deploy technical assets, including specialized testing equipment, heavy machinery, raw installation materials, and multi-disciplinary field crews.

  • Budget Stewardship: Track daily project expenses, manage field operational budgets, analyze cost variances, and implement cost-containment measures to achieve institutional financial goals.

2. On-Site Technical Supervision & Quality Assurance

  • Infrastructure Command: Direct and monitor physical field installations—including greenfield/rooftop tower setups, structural retrofits, antenna alignments, heavy cabling (fiber/coaxial), and telecom equipment integrations (routers, switches, microwave links).

  • Technical Auditing: Interpret complex engineering blueprints, schematics, and structural technical drawings to conduct precise Technical Site Surveys (TSS), verifying that site installations perfectly match client specifications.

  • Operations & Maintenance (O&M): Lead scheduled preventative maintenance audits and handle emergency operations to rectify equipment or network link failures swiftly, minimizing downtime.

3. Vendor Governance & Client Relations

  • Subcontractor Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise on-site technicians, subcontractors, and vendors, establishing clear communication pathways and ensuring full task alignment.

  • Client Advisory Interface: Serve as the primary corporate conduit for the client, delivering structured, data-backed status briefs, resolving technical concerns, and securing formal sign-offs.

4. Compliance, Safety & Data Hygiene

  • HSE & Safety Enforcement: Enforce rigid health and safety protocols (OSHA/HSE standards) across all sites. Conduct mandatory pre-climb safety drills and guarantee 100% compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) rules during high-altitude tower rigging.

  • Regulatory Liaison: Coordinate permitting processes and engage with local municipalities to ensure all site rollouts fully comply with state, federal, and environmental regulations.

  • Project Documentation: Generate and maintain immaculate project logs, including daily progress reports, change orders, site logs, and detailed "As-Built" engineering drawings for final handovers.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Mandatory Frameworks

  • Degree: Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a strictly related technical field.

  • NYSC: Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme is a non-negotiable mandatory requirement.

Experience & Track Record

  • Industry Longevity: Minimum of 3+ years of progressive, verifiable experience operating as a Telecommunications Project Supervisor, Site Engineer, or Senior Field Technician.

  • Domain Mastery: Proven experience directly supervising tower installations, structural retrofits, site audits, cellular network rollouts, and wireless network configurations.

Technical Competencies & Certifications

  • Network Literacy: Practical knowledge of 4G/5G macro network deployments, microwave transmission equipment, power systems (generators/hybrid solar/inverters), and baseline routing/switching hardware.

  • Software Tool Stack: Proficiency utilizing project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) along with advanced Microsoft Excel capability for project data modeling.

  • Professional Credentials: Holding active industry-recognized credentials such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or safety certifications (OSHA/HSE) is highly preferred.
