Job Description:
We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Marketing Officer to join our team at our Onikan, Lagos office. This role is specifically designed for a "hunter"—a professional who thrives on identifying new business opportunities and closing deals in the competitive Equipment Leasing market.
If you have a background as a Direct Sales Executive (DSE) in the banking sector, you possess the tenacity and relationship-management skills we need. You will be responsible for moving beyond simple transactions to building long-term leasing partnerships with corporate clients, ensuring our brand remains the first choice for asset financing in Lagos.
Requirements:
1. Lead Generation & Market Acquisition
Strategic Outreach: Identify and qualify high-value leads within the B2B sector, focusing on industries that require heavy equipment and asset leasing.
Solution Selling: Present and pitch the company’s equipment leasing solutions to prospective clients, tailoring your message to solve their specific capital expenditure (CAPEX) challenges.
Leasing Funnel Management: Move prospects through the sales funnel—from initial outreach to qualified lead and final agreement—ensuring all sales targets are exceeded.
2. Client Relationship & Brand Visibility
Account Stewardship: Build and maintain deep-rooted relationships with corporate clients through consistent, professional communication and value-added service.
Networking & Presence: Represent the company at industry exhibitions, networking forums, and trade events to expand brand visibility and capture new market share.
Messaging Alignment: Work closely with the sales team to ensure that all client touchpoints carry a cohesive, compelling, and professional brand message.
3. Market Intelligence & Performance Tracking
Competitor Monitoring: Analyze competitor offerings and industry trends to provide actionable insights that help refine our leasing products and pricing.
CRM Discipline: Maintain meticulous records of all marketing activities, prospect status, and client interactions within the CRM system.
Marketing Evaluation: Track the ROI of your outreach activities, providing data-driven feedback to help management optimize business development strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree, HND, or OND in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
Experience: 2–3 years of experience in sales or business development. Experience as a Direct Sales Executive (DSE) in a Bank is highly preferred.
Industry Focus: Experience in the B2B or Service sectors is an added advantage.
Core Competencies
