Job Description:

We are a reputable financial services firm specializing in providing fast, reliable loan facilities for salary earners. We are seeking Sales Officers who are more than just marketers—you are the vital bridge between a customer's financial needs and our loan solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for the entire loan acquisition lifecycle: from hunting for viable prospects among salary earners to conducting financial interviews and ensuring the "clean" completion of documentation. If you are a result-oriented professional who can hit targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction, we want you at our Palmgrove Head Office.

Requirements:

1. Prospecting & Market Penetration

  • Strategic Sourcing: Identify and engage viable prospects within the salary-earner demographic (Civil servants, Corporate employees, etc.).

  • Referral Engineering: Build and nurture a robust network of referrals to ensure a consistent pipeline of loan applications.

  • Product Matching: Deeply understand customer needs to recommend the most suitable loan products and cross-sell additional financial services.

2. Credit Assessment & Documentation

  • Financial Interviewing: Conduct professional interviews with applicants to assess their financial eligibility, loan feasibility, and repayment capacity.

  • Documentation Excellence: Prepare, verify, and complete loan documentation in strict alignment with company credit policies and regulatory standards.

  • Client Counseling: Clearly explain loan terms, interest rates, repayment schedules, and restrictions to ensure full customer transparency.

3. Relationship Management & Retention

  • Liaison Excellence: Act as the primary point of contact between the customer and the organization, providing timely updates and requesting necessary information.

  • Customer Loyalty: Build strong, trust-based relationships that turn one-time borrowers into long-term clients and brand advocates.

  • Target Achievement: Thrive in a high-energy, target-driven environment, ensuring monthly sales quotas are met without compromising credit quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Minimum of HND or BSc degree. You must have completed your NYSC or possess an Exclusion Letter.

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Loan Officer, Credit Analyst, or Sales Executive is a significant advantage.

  • Technical Knowledge: A solid baseline understanding of lending products, interest calculations, and credit processes.
