Entourage Integrated Trust Limited is seeking a proactive and analytical Credit Officer to drive our lending operations across the major trade centers of Zaria. In this role, you aren't just an office administrator; you are a financial partner to the traders and entrepreneurs in Sabon Gari, Tundun Wada, Kasuwar Zaria, and Samaru.

Your mission is to facilitate growth by assessing the creditworthiness of local businesses, managing loan documentation, and ensuring timely repayment. Requirements:

1. Risk Assessment & Loan Origination

• Credit Evaluation: Review loan requests and perform deep-dive assessments of a client’s financial status, evaluating their ability to repay based on cash flow and market activity.

• Documentation Mastery: Contact and visit clients to gather essential financial data and documentation, ensuring all loan applications are complete and compliant.

• Risk Calculation: Analyze financial ratios and risk profiles to make informed decisions on approving or rejecting loan requests.

2. Portfolio Management & Field Operations

• Repayment Oversight: Monitor the progress of existing loans and set up sustainable payment plans that align with the client’s business cycle.

• Daily Collections: Take ownership of daily and weekly repayment collections directly from the markets, ensuring the portfolio remains healthy and non-performing loans (NPLs) are minimized.

• Relationship Management: Follow up with clients regarding loan renewals and provide excellent customer service to foster long-term loyalty.

3. Record Governance & Analytics

• Data Management: Maintain meticulous and updated records of all loan applications and repayment histories.

• Financial Reporting: Utilize spreadsheets to track collection targets and analyze the performance of your specific market zone.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: NCE, OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Banking and Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• Experience: Proven work experience as a Credit Officer or Loan Officer. Hands-on experience with lending procedures and micro-finance products is essential.

• Tech IQ: Proficiency in creating and processing financial spreadsheets (Excel).
