Job Description:
Best Service Raya is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketplace Coordinator to manage the heartbeat of our online distribution engine. In the fast-paced world of mobile phones and Small Domestic Appliances (SDA), the efficiency of the marketplace depends on the strength of our seller network and the speed of our fulfillment.
Your mission is to act as the primary bridge between our active sellers and our internal operations. You will be responsible for the end-to-end seller lifecycle—from onboarding new partners and negotiating "Best-in-Market" prices to ensuring that orders move flawlessly from the warehouse to the customer’s doorstep. If you are a persuasive communicator with 1–4 years of experience in the Nigerian e-commerce landscape, we invite you to help us scale our digital footprint.
Requirements:
1. Seller Acquisition & Relationship Management
Network Expansion: Proactively identify and onboard new high-potential sellers to broaden our product offerings.
Daily Engagement: Maintain continuous communication with sellers to ensure real-time updates on pricing, stock availability, and exclusive offers.
Field Partnership: Conduct regular on-site visits to sellers to build trust, resolve pain points, and strengthen the marketplace ecosystem.
2. Commercial Negotiation & Pricing Strategy
Price Leadership: Negotiate aggressively with sellers to secure the most competitive offers and "deal-of-the-day" promotions.
Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor pricing to ensure our marketplace remains the preferred choice for consumers.
Payment Governance: Coordinate and handle seller payments, ensuring transparency and financial reliability within the partnership.
3. Operational Fulfillment & System Integrity
Order Orchestration: Manage the full order lifecycle by coordinating with sellers, the warehouse team, and the fleet/logistics department to ensure timely delivery.
Data Management: Maintain and update the backend systems with surgical precision, ensuring product listings and stock data are 100% accurate.
Problem Solving: Act as the first point of contact for operational bottlenecks, ensuring a smooth "Last-Mile" delivery experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: BA/BSc/HND, NCE, or OND in a related field.
Experience: 1–4 years of experience in sales, marketing, or marketplace operations.
Technical IQ: Strong knowledge of online business models and marketplace platforms.
Core Competencies
Negotiation Mastery: Proven ability to persuade and influence vendors to secure better commercial terms.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills for daily high-touch interaction with stakeholders.
Energy: A proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to navigate the fast-paced Lagos market.
Customer Focus: Understanding that a happy seller leads to a happy end-customer.
