Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Officer / Technician to ensure the optimal performance, safety, and operational continuity of our machinery and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance tasks to minimize operational downtime.

Requirements:

• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular equipment inspections as per the maintenance plan and document all observations.

• Power System Oversight: Monitor and perform pre-startup checks on generator sets (fuel, oil, and cooling water levels) and troubleshoot control panels.

• Inventory & Documentation: Perform daily dipping of ATK storage tanks to monitor fuel consumption and maintain accurate stock records.

• Operational Support:

  • Service product pump strainers and sprinkler nozzles.

  • Manage hose connections/disconnections for vessel reception.

  • Ensure line valve functionality, including greasing and servicing for seamless operation.

• Collaborative Maintenance: Assist with various maintenance tasks, support repair and replacement projects, and work effectively within the technical team.

• Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to safety standards, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Minimum of a B.Sc. / HND in Engineering, Sciences, Social Sciences, Administration, or Humanities.

• Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in a core maintenance role within the Oil & Gas or Manufacturing industries.

• Preferred Certification: Possession of a Trade Test is considered a significant advantage.
