Job Description:
We are seeking a highly disciplined Logistics Officer / Warehouse Manager to take full ownership of our distribution hub. In the lubricant industry, precision is paramount—not just in stock counting, but in the safe handling and timely movement of products.
Your mission is to ensure that our warehouse operates as a high-efficiency engine. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of our inventory: from the moment a shipment is received and stacked to the final mile of delivery to our sub-distributors. If you have a "safety-first" mindset and a proven track record of maintaining zero-variance inventory in a fast-paced environment, we want you to lead our logistics team.
Requirements:
1. Warehouse Architecture & Inventory Governance
Inbound Excellence: Oversee the receipt, inspection, and recording of incoming lubricants, ensuring 100% data accuracy from day one.
Safety-First Storage: Ensure products are stacked and stored in strict accordance with safety standards for lubricants to prevent leaks, contamination, or fire hazards.
Stock Integrity: Lead periodic physical counts and reconciliations to maintain a zero-loss environment and prevent product expiration.
2. Distribution & Last-Mile Coordination
Dispatch Planning: Architect daily delivery schedules to ensure sub-distributors and retail customers receive their orders on time.
Documentation Control: Prepare and verify all waybills, delivery notes, and dispatch logs to ensure legal and operational compliance.
Fleet Liaison: Partner with drivers and third-party transporters to optimize routes, reduce delivery times, and resolve transit bottlenecks.
3. Operational Leadership & Support
Sales Synergy: Work in lockstep with the sales department to ensure that stock availability matches market demand and customer orders.
Team Supervision: Lead and mentor warehouse assistants and loaders, fostering a culture of speed, accuracy, and safety.
Replenishment Strategy: Provide management with data-driven insights to support smart stock planning and timely replenishment cycles.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: HND/B.Sc. in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 2–4 years in warehouse/logistics (Direct experience in FMCG, Oil & Gas, or Lubricants is a significant advantage).
Technical Mastery: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern inventory management software.
Core Competencies
Organizational Rigor: Ability to maintain a structured warehouse environment under high-volume pressure.
Integrity: A steadfast commitment to transparency in stock reconciliation and financial documentation.
Problem-Solving: The ability to pivot logistics plans quickly in response to transport delays or inventory shifts.
