Job Description:

Sun King is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Logistics Manager to lead our end-to-end transport operations. You will be responsible for the architectural design and daily execution of our fleet strategy, overseeing both dedicated Sun King trucks and external contracted transporters. This role is built for a data-driven leader who can transform standard transport operations into an optimized, high-performance system. You will focus on maximizing truck utilization, ensuring 5-star safety standards, and driving cost-efficiencies across our regional distribution network to ensure our life-changing products reach every customer reliably.

Requirements:

1. Logistics Strategy & Data Intelligence

• Strategic Planning: Design and manage the end-to-end distribution roadmap, ensuring inbound and outbound logistics are perfectly synced with Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).

• Performance Analytics: Scrutinize and interpret transport data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities within the trucking fleet.

• Cost Stewardship: Ensure all operational expenses remain consistent with approved budgets while driving innovative cost-saving initiatives.

2. Fleet Operations & Journey Management

• Resource Optimization: Direct all activities related to truck utilization, routing, and dispatching to achieve minimum trips per truck targets.

• Safety & Compliance: Promote a 5-star safety culture by implementing rigorous safety management systems and conducting regular transporter safety audits.

• Issue Resolution: Lead the investigation and resolution of delays or complaints, ensuring a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.

• Project Expansion: Guide the expansion of dedicated service deliveries across all regional warehouses, ensuring scalable success.

3. Carrier & Vendor Management

• Performance Governance: Manage relationships with approximately [X] transporters, ensuring they provide adequate resources to meet company requirements.

• KPI Accountability: Scrutinize vendor performance against strict KPIs, including on-time delivery, truck availability, and cost-per-trip.

• Stakeholder Synergy: Coordinate regularly with Warehouse, Sales, Finance, and Program teams to ensure a seamless supply chain flow.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

• Academic: Degree in a Business-related field; a specialization in Logistics or Transport Management is a significant advantage.

• Tenure: Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics management, with proven experience in a middle-management capacity.

• Supply Chain Mastery: Strong comprehension of end-to-end supply chain functions, scheduling, and logistics processes.

• Data Fluency: Exceptional ability to interpret financial data, estimate operational costs, and derive insights from transport metrics.

• Safety Leadership: Capability to enforce Sun King’s global safety standards across all third-party and internal fleet activities.
