About Company:
LEAD Enterprise Support Company Limited is a foremost Human Resources Solutions organization with many years of cumulative experience and expertise. We are prolific in Outsourcing, Recruitment, Head hunting and HR Advisory. We are a multi-sectorial servicing company, with landmark service deliverables to our clients in varied industries.
Job Description:
We are seeking a high-energy and disciplined Logistics Coordinator to anchor our fleet operations in Gbagada, Lagos. In the fast-paced world of Lagos logistics, your role is the command center. Your mission is to synchronize vehicles, riders, and drivers to ensure that "on-time delivery" is a guarantee, not just a goal.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our fleet—from daily dispatching and real-time movement tracking to ensuring that every vehicle is roadworthy and compliant with state regulations. If you have at least 1 year of experience, an intimate knowledge of Lagos routes, and the "driver’s seat" mentality needed to lead a team under pressure, we want you on our team.
Requirements:
1. Fleet Orchestration & Dispatch
Daily Deployment: Strategically assign vehicles, riders, and drivers based on delivery priority and route efficiency to maximize daily output.
Route Optimization: Leverage your deep knowledge of Lagos geography (shortcuts, peak-hour bottlenecks, and LASTMA zones) to minimize transit times.
Support Excellence: Bridge the gap between operations and customer service by ensuring a smooth, "no-excuses" delivery experience for the end-user.
2. Technical Maintenance & Compliance
Fleet Health: Implement and monitor rigorous servicing schedules to ensure all vehicles and bikes are in peak mechanical condition and roadworthy.
Document Governance: Ensure 100% compliance with road safety regulations and company policies, keeping all vehicle papers (Insurance, Roadworthiness, MOT, etc.) updated.
Resource Accountability: Maintain precise logs of fuel usage and maintenance costs, identifying opportunities to reduce operational overhead.
3. Real-Time Monitoring & Crisis Management
Movement Tracking: Actively track vehicle movements and provide real-time updates to stakeholders.
Issue Resolution: Proactively resolve operational delays caused by traffic, mechanical breakdowns, or security checkpoints to keep deliveries on schedule.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: B.Sc / HND in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
NYSC: Must have a completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge certificate.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in fleet or logistics operations.
Driving Credentials: Must possess a valid Driver’s License and be a confident, capable driver.
Core Competencies
Lagos Route IQ: Extensive knowledge of Gbagada and the wider Lagos road networks.
Leadership: Ability to manage a diverse team of riders and drivers with firmness and respect.
Pressure Management: Ability to multitask and maintain focus in a high-stress, fast-moving environment.
Communication: Clear verbal and written skills for reporting and inter-departmental coordination.
