Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber and service-oriented Human Resources Executive to anchor our people operations in Abuja. In the premium hospitality sector, success is defined by "Service Consistency", the ability to harmonize rigorous HR administration with the continuous development of a world-class service team. This role is designed for a "People Operations Specialist" with a strong background in Hospitality who can blend "Labor Compliance" with the "Training Grit" required to elevate departmental performance.

Your mission is to ensure "Absolute Service Sovereignty and Talent Excellence." You will be the primary engine of our human capital: responsible for the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from recruitment to specialized training and development. If you possess "Strong Interpersonal Diplomacy," a background in Learning & Development (L&D), and the "Operational Discipline" to manage HR within a high-traffic hospitality environment, we want you to drive our organizational sovereignty.

Requirements:

1. Talent Acquisition & Service Integration

  • Hospitality-Focused Recruitment: Identify and acquire high-potential talent specifically suited for the rigorous demands of the hospitality industry.

  • Onboarding & Induction: Lead comprehensive induction programs that instill the company’s service philosophy and operational standards in new hires from day one.

  • Workforce Planning: Coordinate with department heads to manage staffing levels effectively, ensuring peak service delivery during Abuja's high-traffic corporate and diplomatic events.

2. Learning & Development (L&D) Sovereignty

  • Departmental Training Architecture: Design and facilitate specialized training sessions and "Departmental Trainer" modules to ensure service staff meet global hospitality benchmarks.

  • Skill Gap Analysis: Proactively identify performance gaps across the facility and implement corrective coaching or workshops to bridge them.

  • Leadership Mentorship: Cultivate a pipeline of future supervisors and managers through structured professional development programs.

3. Operational Governance & Compliance

  • Labor Law Stewardship: Ensure all HR activities, contracts, and disciplinary procedures are in 100% alignment with the Nigerian Labour Act and internal policies.

  • Performance Architecture: Manage the annual appraisal process, linking employee performance directly to service quality and reward systems.

  • Personnel Data Integrity: Maintain high-fidelity employee records, including attendance, leave management, and payroll support documentation.

4. Employee Relations & Culture Management

  • Service Culture Advocacy: Promote a high-performance, hospitality-first culture where staff engagement is prioritized to reduce turnover.

  • Conflict Diplomacy: Act as a neutral arbiter for employee grievances, ensuring a harmonious and professional working environment.

  • Welfare Administration: Manage staff benefits, medical schemes, and workplace environment standards to ensure high levels of employee satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Experience: Proven background in Human Resources specifically within the Hospitality Industry (Required).

  • Expertise: Experience in Learning & Development (L&D) or as a Departmental Trainer is a significant added advantage.

  • Education: Candidates should possess relevant professional qualifications in Human Resources or Business Administration.

  • Location: Based in or able to operate effectively within Abuja.

Core Competencies

  • Hospitality IQ: Deep understanding of the specific operational rhythms and service standards of a hotel or resort environment.
