Job Description:
We are seeking a high-precision and strategically organized HR Officer to anchor our operations in Abuja (FCT). In a city driven by corporate excellence and regulatory rigor, success is defined by "Administrative Integrity", the ability to harmonize personnel documentation, recruitment logistics, and payroll support into a seamless operational engine. This role is designed for a "People Operations Specialist" with 2–5 years of experience who can blend "Meticulous Record-Keeping" with the "Professional Diplomacy" required to manage employee relations and labor law compliance.
Your mission is to ensure "Absolute Personnel Data Sovereignty and Seamless Onboarding." You will be the primary engine of the HR department: responsible for maintaining high-fidelity employee databases, orchestrating recruitment cycles, and ensuring every hire receives a "Gold-Standard" induction. If you possess "Exceptional Communication Skills," a background in Human Resources, and a proactive approach to staff engagement, we want you to drive our operational sovereignty.
Requirements:
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Orchestration
Recruitment Logistics: Lead the tactical recruitment cycle by screening high-potential resumes, coordinating interview schedules, and managing the candidate experience pipeline.
Onboarding Excellence: Support the integration of new hires through structured orientation schedules, induction sessions, and the preparation of comprehensive onboarding packs.
Document Architecture: Prepare high-accuracy HR documents, including employment contracts, offer letters, and confirmation notices, ensuring 100% legal alignment.
2. Personnel Governance & Data Integrity
Database Stewardship: Maintain and update high-fidelity employee records, including HR databases, attendance tracking, and physical personnel files.
Leave & Benefits Administration: Assist in the clinical administration of employee benefits and leave management, providing critical support for monthly payroll preparation.
Policy Diplomacy: Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, providing clear and professional clarifications on HR policies, procedures, and internal practices.
3. Organizational Development & Training
Skill Engineering: Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and professional development programs to elevate the mission-critical skills of the workforce.
Staff Engagement: Design and execute engagement activities to foster a high-performance culture and improve employee morale.
Training Documentation: Track the impact of learning initiatives and maintain records of staff certifications and skill upgrades.
4. Compliance & Administrative Support
Legal Sovereignty: Ensure all HR activities comply with the Nigerian Labour Act, FCT-specific regulations, and internal management standards.
Confidentiality Governance: Manage sensitive personnel data with the highest level of professionalism and discretion.
Departmental Support: Provide general administrative aid to the HR department to ensure "Zero-Disruption" in departmental workflows.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 2–5 years of robust HR or administrative experience. Experience within the Hotels & Accommodations sector is a significant advantage.
Technical Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS or database management tools.
Core Competencies
Organizational Grit: Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple administrative deadlines.
Communication Power: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
Professional Ethics: A high level of confidentiality and a disciplined approach to personnel management.
