Job Description:

• Conduct routine site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with HSE policies and standards.
• Identify unsafe acts and conditions and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring HSE programs, policies, and procedures.
• Support incident and accident investigations, and follow up on corrective and preventive measures.
• Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and HSE training sessions.
• Maintain accurate HSE documentation and assist in preparing regular reports.
• Ensure adherence to statutory and company safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor’s (B.Sc) Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as an HSE Officer or Inspector, preferably within the mining or heavy industrial sector.
• Sound understanding of HSE regulations, risk assessment, and hazard control.
• Good communication, observation, and reporting skills.
• Relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or ISPON will be an added advantage.
