Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee and manage all human resource functions at our client retail supermarket operations in Port Harcourt.
- The ideal candidate will have strong generalist HR skills, with a core focus on Benefits & Compensation, Performance Management, and Regulatory Compliance.
- Experience using ERP systems for HR processes is essential.
Key Duties
- Develop and implement compensation and benefits structures aligned with company policies.
- Drive performance management processes, including appraisals, KPIs, and feedback systems.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal policies.
- Maintain and update employee records using ERP software.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Support organizational development and training initiatives.
- Relate with other stakeholders
- Employee engagement and management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in the retail sector.
- Proven experience in compensation, performance management, and compliance.
- Proficient in the use of ERP systems for HR operations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Gender: Male (for gender balance).
Salary
