As we continue to scale, we’re seeking a high-impact, strategic Lead HR Business Partner to shape our people strategy and drive growth.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

  • As an HR Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic liaison between management and employees, ensuring that human resource initiatives align with business objectives.
  • You will support key business units across the organization, advise on people strategy, manage performance, and improve the overall employee experience.
  • This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive, empathetic, and detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of HR best practices and Nigerian labor laws.

Responsibilities
Business Partnering & Advisory:

  • Collaborate with department heads to identify workforce needs and support team performance.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers on people matters, including talent development, succession planning, and team dynamics.
  • Support change management initiatives and help build a resilient, adaptable culture.

Performance Management:

  • Coach managers on giving constructive feedback and driving employee growth.
  • Monitor team performance metrics and address underperformance.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
  • Conduct investigations and ensure resolution of employee issues in line with company policies and labor laws.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through proactive employee engagement.

Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Support recruitment efforts by partnering with the Talent Acquisition team to fill open roles.
  • Oversee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.

HR Operations & Compliance:

  • Ensure HR policies and practices are up-to-date, communicated, and consistently applied.
  • Maintain employee records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Generate regular HR reports on headcount, turnover, engagement, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, PHR) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HR, with at least 2 years in an HRBP or generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, and projects simultaneously.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with HRIS tools, Microsoft Office, and data reporting.
