Job Description:

Estrada International Staffing Solutions is seeking a high-caliber Finance Manager to lead our financial operations in Surulere, Lagos. In the fast-paced world of HR Consulting, finance is the backbone of our strategic agility. Your mission is to move beyond traditional accounting into the realm of Profitability Engineering.

You will be responsible for transforming raw financial data into research-backed strategic insights. We are looking for a professional who has cut their teeth in a consulting or professional services environment—someone who understands the nuances of billable hours, project margins, and tax compliance, but who also has the creative spark to automate workflows and innovate reporting structures.

Requirements:

1. Financial Reporting & Deep-Dive Analysis

• Intelligence Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate, timely financial statements that go beyond the balance sheet to provide actionable analysis of variances, trends, and performance metrics.

• Profitability Governance: Deep-dive into project-based accounting to ensure the business is maximizing margins across its diverse HR consulting portfolios.

• Masterful Presentation: Translate complex data into visually compelling reports that drive executive decision-making.

2. Strategic Research & Innovation

• Market Intelligence: Conduct rigorous financial research and benchmarking to advise leadership on investment opportunities and industry cost-saving standards.

• Process Automation: Identify bottlenecks in traditional accounting cycles and design innovative, automated solutions (utilizing Power Query or advanced modeling) to streamline workflows.

• Forecasting Accuracy: Lead the budgeting process by integrating real-time business shifts with research-backed projections to provide accurate rolling forecasts.

3. Core Accounting & Compliance

• Consulting Standards: Manage complex accounting tasks, including rigorous internal controls and audits, with the precision expected of a top-tier professional services firm.

• Regulatory Stewardship: Ensure 100% compliance with Nigerian tax laws (LIRS, FIRS) and relevant accounting standards (IFRS).

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

• Certification: Professional certification (ACA or ACCA) is a significant advantage.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of core accounting experience. Mandatory background in a Consulting or Professional Services environment.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

• Excel Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Financial Modeling and Power Query is essential.

• Analytical Rigor: A research-driven mindset with the ability to identify underlying business drivers behind the numbers.
