Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, qualified, and result-driven Sales Engineer to join our team. This role is a strategic blend of technical expertise and high-level salesmanship. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between complex engineering solutions and our clients' business needs, ensuring that our technical offerings are translated into high-value commercial successes.

The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who can navigate the technical specifications of a project while maintaining the persuasive edge required to close complex deals and build a sustainable client pipeline.

Requirements:

Business Development & Technical Sales

  • Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities and cultivate a portfolio of potential high-value clients.

  • Solution Promotion: Promote and sell the company’s engineering products and specialized solutions by effectively communicating technical advantages and ROI.

  • Proposal Engineering: Prepare detailed technical proposals, accurate quotations, and persuasive presentations tailored to specific client needs.

Consultation & Relationship Management

  • Technical Consultation: Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and technical consultations to align our solutions with the client’s operational requirements.

  • Client Retention: Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

  • After-Sales Support: Provide continuous after-sales support to ensure technical satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Negotiation & Reporting

  • Closing Deals: Lead contract negotiations and close sales deals effectively while ensuring compliance with company margins and policies.

  • Market Intelligence: Prepare periodic sales reports and provide management with critical market intelligence updates and competitor analysis.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline relevant to Sales Engineering.

  • Experience: * 2–4 years of proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a high-level technical sales role.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Technical Literacy: Ability to understand complex customer requirements and design suitable technical solutions.

    • Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to influence and close deals in a B2B or industrial environment.

    • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and relationship management skills.

  • Technical Proficiency: * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Personal Attributes: * Ability to work independently, manage a sales territory, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
