Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Electrical/Automation Team Lead to maintain the operational integrity of our FMCG plant. You will be the technical lead responsible for the full lifecycle of our automation equipment from troubleshooting and condition monitoring to calibration and preventative maintenance. This role is for a hands-on leader who can ensure that our production lines and utility systems operate at 100% reliability through expert technical oversight and effective team management.
Requirements:
System Maintenance & Monitoring: Lead routine condition monitoring, regular program backups, and maintenance for all automation and electronic equipment (e.g., bottle inspectors, fill height detectors, mixers, and coding machines).
Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all electrical documentation is up-to-date. Conduct routine audits of all electrical controls and ensure full compliance with maintenance programs, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and GHK (5S) standards.
Spare Parts Management: Proactively identify and manage critical automation spare parts to prevent production downtime.
Optimization & Calibration: Facilitate the calibration of electronic instruments and implement functional modifications to drive equipment productivity.
Leadership & Coaching: Supervise, mentor, and coach direct reports. Instill a culture of basic cycle maintenance (cleaning/inspection) as a core part of our organizational culture.
Safety & Environment: Enforce all HQSE (Health, Quality, Safety, and Environment) policies and codes across the engineering department.
Reliability Reporting: Communicate effectively to management regarding critical actions needed to restore equipment to peak performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: B.Eng. or HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in FMCG operations, specifically within bottling or automated production environments.
Technical Mastery:
Proven experience in troubleshooting, automation maintenance, and instrumentation.
Strong understanding of industrial electronics and automation software.
