Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and strategically elite Documentation & Logistics Officer to anchor our distribution engine in Lagos. In the hyper-competitive FMCG and Beverage sector, success is defined by "Supply Chain Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize daily dispatch schedules with the clinical precision required for statutory documentation (Invoices, E-way Bills, Gate Passes) and regulatory compliance (FSSAI/BIS). This role is designed for a "Logistics Architect" with a Bachelor’s Degree and 6–8 years of experience who can blend "Operational Grit" (supervising loading and vehicle coordination) with the "Technical Agility" required to master ERP/SAP systems and batch traceability.

Requirements:

1. Dispatch Orchestration & Statutory Governance

  • Statutory Sovereignty: Prepare and verify high-fidelity commercial documents (Delivery Challans, Invoices, E-way Bills), ensuring every shipment acts as a "Source of Legal Compliance."

  • Schedule Architecture: Plan and coordinate daily dispatch based on production output with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Timely Delivery."

  • Traceability Stewardship: Maintain rigorous batch traceability records for finished goods, providing the "Analytical Foundation" for food safety and recall readiness.

2. Operational Resilience & Inventory Logic

  • Logistics Sovereignty: Liaise with transporters and 3PL providers to optimize vehicle arrangement, acting as the primary "Source of Freight Efficiency."

  • Inventory Architecture: Coordinate with Warehouse and Production teams for stock reconciliation and periodic audits, ensuring the "Source of Inventory Accuracy" remains uncompromised.

  • Material Stewardship: Monitor pallet and packaging movement with high-velocity focus, ensuring "Zero-Friction" in the return and reuse of logistical assets.

3. Regulatory Integrity & Performance Power

  • Compliance Sovereignty: Ensure all dispatch operations meet FSSAI, BIS, and local regulatory standards, acting as the "Source of Audit Readiness."

  • Performance Architecture: Track freight costs and logistics metrics (KPIs), providing the "Analytical Foundation" for daily, weekly, and monthly management reports.

  • Coordination Logic: Exercise excellent communication skills to bridge Production, Quality, and Sales teams, utilizing 6–8 years of FMCG experience to optimize the "Source of Operational Command."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or Supply Chain; or a Diploma in Logistics.

  • Experience: 6–8 years of robust experience in logistics or documentation within the Bottled Water, Beverage, or FMCG industry.

  • Certifications: Professional certification in Supply Chain Management and ERP/SAP Training is required.

Core Competencies

  • Technical Grit: Mastery of Advanced MS Excel, ERP systems, and batch traceability protocols.

  • Operational Sovereignty: Strong knowledge of transport coordination, freight cost monitoring, and pallet management.

  • Character Integrity: High attention to detail, documentation discipline, and the ability to work under intense dispatch pressure.
