Job Description:

eDokita is seeking a compassionate and evidence-based Dietitian to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, you will be the lead authority on nutrition, responsible for designing and implementing Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to support patient recovery and chronic disease management. You will bridge the gap between medical diagnosis and lifestyle intervention, ensuring that our patients receive personalized, high-impact nutrition care. Requirements:

1. Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) & Clinical Care

• Nutritional Assessment: Conduct comprehensive nutrition screenings and assessments, taking into account medical history, biochemical data, and lifestyle factors.

• Personalized Care Plans: Develop and implement evidence-based nutrition intervention plans tailored to specific conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, renal disease, and malnutrition.

• Recovery Support: Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting dietary protocols to optimize recovery and prevent disease progression.

2. Patient Education & Community Wellness

• Counseling: Provide one-on-one and group nutrition counseling to empower patients to make sustainable dietary changes.

• Educational Content: Collaborate with the eDokita team to create accurate, engaging nutrition education materials and wellness content for our digital platforms.

• Preventative Health: Promote optimal health outcomes through community-focused nutrition programs and wellness workshops.

3. Coordination & Leadership

• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic, integrated care.

• Coordination: Lead and coordinate nutrition-related initiatives, ensuring all protocols align with international best practices and eDokita standards.

• Records Management: Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records, documenting all nutritional interventions and outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Licensing

• Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related health science field.

• Certification: Professional certification or licensing as a Dietitian (e.g., Registered Dietitian) is mandatory where applicable.

Experience & Skills

• Proven Track Record: Experience in clinical, community, or wellness nutrition environments.

• Communication Excellence: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to simplify complex nutritional science for patients.

• Leadership: Strong coordination skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as an integral part of a healthcare team.
