Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and highly disciplined Data Entry Officer to join our team in Ota. In this role, you will be the primary custodian of our digital records, responsible for the high-volume input and maintenance of critical business data.
The ideal candidate recognizes that data is a company's most valuable asset. You must possess a "zero-error" mindset, exceptional typing speed, and the ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality. If you are an organized professional with 2–3 years of experience in database management and a mastery of Excel, we want you to help us maintain our data excellence.
Requirements:
1. Data Processing & Integrity Governance
System Input: Accurately input and update large volumes of data into company databases, ensuring all entries are current and correctly formatted.
Verification & Reconciliation: Systematically verify data for accuracy and proactively resolve discrepancies between source documents and digital records.
Audit Readiness: Maintain both digital and physical filing systems in a state of constant organization for quick retrieval and internal audits.
2. Reporting & Operational Support
Report Generation: Extract raw data to generate regular operational and administrative reports for management review.
Administrative Synergy: Support broader operational teams with data-related tasks, providing the information needed to drive daily business activities.
Quality Control: Identify patterns in data entry errors and suggest improvements to current data capture processes.
3. Security & Confidentiality
Information Security: Adhere to strict protocols to ensure data confidentiality and protect sensitive company information from unauthorized access.
Data Backup: Assist in ensuring data is regularly backed up and secured according to company policy.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Experience: 2 – 3 years of proven experience in a dedicated Data Entry or Information Management role.
Technical IQ: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel (data sorting, filtering, and basic formulas).
Core Competencies
Typing Mastery: High words-per-minute (WPM) speed with a verified high level of accuracy.
Organizational Logic: Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict daily deadlines.
Independent Execution: Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining a high work output.
