Job Description:

We are seeking a smart, proactive, and results-oriented Male Customer Service Representative to join our expanding cargo and logistics firm. In the logistics industry, customer service is more than just answering phones—it is about being the "engine" that converts inquiries into shipments and shipments into long-term loyalty.

You will be the primary point of contact for our clients, responsible for managing the full engagement lifecycle from lead conversion to final delivery coordination. We are looking for a candidate who doesn't wait to be told what to do; someone who lives for the "follow-up" and has the persuasion skills to close deals in a competitive market. Requirements:

1. Lead Conversion & Sales Growth

  • Proactive Engagement: Respond to customer inquiries across modern communication tools (WhatsApp, Email, Phone) with speed and professionalism.

  • Persuasive Closing: Identify customer needs and use strong persuasion skills to convert casual inquiries into active cargo bookings.

  • Follow-up Excellence: Maintain a rigorous, self-managed follow-up schedule for pending leads, ensuring no opportunity is lost due to silence.

2. Operations Coordination & Support

  • Service Standards: Uphold the company’s professional service standards, ensuring every client feels valued and informed.

  • Logistics Liaison: Coordinate with the operations and dispatch teams to provide customers with real-time updates on their cargo status.

  • Problem Resolution: Resolve customer complaints or logistical bottlenecks with a calm, solution-oriented approach.

3. Digital Proficiency & Reporting

  • Data Management: Use basic computer tools and logistics software to track customer interactions and update shipment records.

  • Target Tracking: Monitor personal performance against set targets, providing management with regular updates on lead conversion rates and customer feedback.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Gender: Male (as per specific operational requirements).

  • Location: Must reside within the Idimu-Ikotun, Lagos axis for proximity and punctuality.

  • Experience: Previous experience in Customer Service, Sales, or Logistics is an advantage.
