Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly, patient, and highly professional Customer Service Officer to join our sales organization. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients—including healthcare professionals and medical institutions. You will balance empathetic problem-solving with the technical precision required for medical sales, ensuring that inquiries are handled promptly and that our sales team is fully supported in delivering world-class service.

The ideal candidate possesses a mix of excellent interpersonal skills and a foundational understanding of the healthcare landscape, allowing for seamless communication with medical experts and stakeholders.

Requirements:

Customer Engagement & Support

  • Inquiry Management: Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person visits.

  • Problem Resolution: Actively listen to customer complaints, identify the root cause, and provide effective, timely solutions to ensure high satisfaction levels.

  • Product Advocacy: Provide clear and accurate information regarding our pharmaceutical products, medical services, and company policies.

Sales Operations & Coordination

  • Order Processing: Support the sales team by managing the end-to-end order entry process and ensuring accuracy in fulfillment.

  • Client Follow-ups: Conduct proactive follow-up calls to clients to ensure orders were received and to address any post-sale requirements.

  • Administrative Synergy: Maintain meticulous records of all customer interactions and transactions within our internal systems.

Technical & Professional Standards

  • Documentation: Ensure a high level of accuracy in all documentation, adhering to the strict regulatory standards of the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Interdisciplinary Liaison: Interact effectively with healthcare professionals, maintaining a high standard of medical professionalism and ethics.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

  • Degree: HND or B.Sc. in any field of study.

  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a customer service role.

  • Sector Preference: Previous experience within a pharmaceutical or medical sales environment is highly preferred.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic CRM applications.

  • Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of pharmaceutical products, healthcare systems, or medical terminology is an added advantage.

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
