Job Description:

Entourage Integrated Trust Limited is seeking a disciplined and analytical Credit Officer to join our team in Aba. In this role, you will be the primary link between our financial products and our clients, responsible for assessing creditworthiness, managing the loan lifecycle, and ensuring timely repayment. You will play a critical role in helping clients acquire necessary funding while safeguarding the company’s portfolio through rigorous risk analysis and consistent field monitoring.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of lending procedures and a proactive approach to customer service and debt recovery.

Requirements:

Credit Assessment & Risk Management

• Loan Evaluation: Review loan requests and evaluate clients’ financial status to determine creditworthiness and risk ratios.

• Data Analysis: Analyze financial data and documentation to approve or reject loan applications in line with company policy.

• Loan Processing: Prepare loan applications and set up structured payment plans tailored to client profiles.

Portfolio Monitoring & Collection

• Repayment Oversight: Conduct daily and weekly repayment collections to maintain a healthy portfolio.

• Monitoring: Track the progress of existing loans and follow up with clients regarding loan renewals and status updates.

• Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous, updated records of all loan applications and financial transactions.

Client Relations

• Communication: Contact clients to gather necessary financial data and documentation; act as a professional point of contact for loan-related inquiries.

• Service Excellence: Utilize strong interpersonal skills to provide high-quality customer service while enforcing lending requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

• Degree: NCE, OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Banking and Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• Experience: Proven work experience as a Credit Officer, Loan Officer, or in a similar financial services role.

• Sector Knowledge: Hands-on experience with lending procedures and micro-finance products.

Technical & Professional Skills

• Analytical Ability: Strong skills in calculating risk ratios and evaluating financial health.

• Financial Literacy: Ability to create and process financial spreadsheets accurately.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle negotiation and conflict resolution.
