We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Description:
- Prepare Import documentations
- Secure timely regulatory import license/permits
- Coordinate and track International Transportation
- Handles all SONCAP issues
- Liaise with Banks and Customs to secure Pre-Arrival Assessment Report (PAAR) timely
- Work closely with customs brokers/Logistics Serve Providers to ensure expedited custom clearance and delivery
- Track and monitor CC lead time does not only meet SLA but improves exponentially
- Lead amicable resolution of all customs queries that may arise from airport, seaport or post clearance audit.
- Constantly relate with the key players and stakeholders in Nigeria maritime such as other government agencies- SON, NPQS, NAFDAC, terminal operators, and shipping lines.
- Track and monitor haulage and transportation of goods from port to warehouse and any location in Nigeria
- Push for timely LSP invoice approval and liaise with LSP to resolve invoicing issues
- Collecting ECD documents and hand over to finance or projects. All handover need to be recorded and copies archived in the system Require.
Requirements:
- The Ideal candidate must have at least one international certification in Supply Chain Management, International Logistics & Transportation and or Procurement
- A minimum of 5 years working experience and demonstrated cordial relationship with Customs, other government agencies and key stakeholders.
- Have a good command of supply chain, procurement, and international trade knowledge.
- Must have in-dept knowledge of WCO, WTO international trade rules and regulations
- Have thorough understanding of Nigeria Customs Service Regulations
- Vast and expert in HS Code classification and Customs Valuation Rules
- Experience in free trade zone and bonded warehouse transactions
- Familiar with Transire custom clearance process
- Have a good command of English.
- Good interpersonal relationship skills and conflict resolution skills.
