Job Description:

DreamCity Capital is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to serve as the architect of our operational and commercial expansion. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be the bridge between technology, investment structuring, and aggressive market penetration.

This is a role for a finance heavyweight with a decade of experience in the Capital Markets. You will not only ensure platform stability but also lead the operationalization of our SEC Approval-in-Principle, transforming regulatory compliance into a competitive advantage. Requirements:

1. Platform Integrity & Product Structuring

• Technical Stewardship: Oversee the reliability of the DCC platform, collaborating with the tech team to implement rigorous testing protocols and user-feedback loops for a frictionless investor journey.

• Investment Engineering: Manage the end-to-end structuring of investment offers. You will ensure every project created is financially viable, attractive to the "smart money," and perfectly aligned with current market demands.

• Operational Efficiency: Leverage technology to streamline internal workflows, ensuring the platform scales without compromising on service quality.

2. Regulatory Governance & SEC Liaison

• Compliance Leadership: Serve as the primary liaison with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and other regulatory bodies.

• Operationalizing Approval: Lead the strategic implementation of the Approval-in-Principle, ensuring every facet of the company’s operations meets the highest standard of capital market regulation.

• Risk Mitigation: Continuously audit internal processes to safeguard the firm’s reputation and license.

3. Revenue Generation & Investor Relations

• Commercial Command: Directly oversee the sales of all investment offerings, driving the team to meet and exceed ambitious revenue targets.

• Investor Community Growth: Cultivate robust relationships with the investor community, positioning DCC as a transparent, high-trust destination for capital.

• Growth Marketing Collaboration: Partner with the marketing team to design data-driven campaigns, using analytics to refine market penetration strategies and increase brand visibility.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. (An MBA or MSc is a distinct advantage).

• Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance and Capital Markets.

• Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of investment instruments, market dynamics, and the Nigerian regulatory landscape.

• Regulatory Track Record: Demonstrable experience interfacing with the SEC or similar fund management regulators.
