Job Description:
Our Client is a fast-growing interior decoration business focused on creating aesthetically pleasing home and office spaces without structural alterations. We’re looking for a proactive and organized business development executive to spearhead our business growth efforts, grow our customer base, and drive revenue growth through strategic outreach, campaigns, and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and contact potential clients (homeowners, offices, Airbnb hosts).
- Build relationships with real estate agents, developers, and property brokers to generate leads.
- Maintain and update a database of prospects and actively follow up on inquiries.
- Develop and manage a structured referral system for past clients and partners.
- Track and process referral rewards (commission tiers 10–20%)
- Email Marketing: Design and send weekly newsletters showcasing project transformations, promotions, and client testimonials
- Social Media: Create and post engaging content (before/after photos, trends, design tips) across Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.
- Paid Ads: Run Facebook/Instagram ad campaigns and optimise performance for ROI.
- SEO & Google My Business: Manage listings and ensure content is optimised for local search visibility.
- Build a segmented contact list and send bulk SMS messages monthly for offers, project features, or event promos.
- Maintain and update the business’s design portfolio for online use and client presentations
- Collect testimonials and turn successful projects into short case studies for marketin
- Identify and attend relevant expos, home & lifestyle fairs, or networking events.
- Establish collaboration with furniture stores, interior accessory vendors, and property developers.
- Represent the brand at in-person events, promoting services and generating leads
Requirements:
Success in This Role Looks Like:
- Consistently generating quality leads and converting them into paying clients.
- Increasing our online engagement and social media reach.
- Building a pipeline of partnerships that feed consistent business.
- Helping the business hit its ₦1M monthly revenue target within 6 months.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 1–2 years experience in digital marketing, field marketing, or client acquisition roles.
- Proficiency in digital tools: Canva, Mailchimp (or similar), Meta Business Suite, Excel/Google Sheets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence in attending events and engaging with clients in person.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Interest in interior design or lifestyle branding is a plus.
Salary
