Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Senior Finance Professional to take ownership of our financial operations. With over 8 years of experience in the field, you will be the driving force behind our financial reporting integrity, budgeting processes, and internal control frameworks. This is a critical leadership position for an individual who is not just an expert in accounting but also a proactive partner in business growth, ensuring transparency, compliance, and fiscal health across the organization.

Requirements:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Lead the end-to-end financial reporting process, ensuring the preparation of accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements that provide actionable insights to management.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Drive the annual budgeting process and ongoing financial forecasting. Monitor performance against budgets, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions to optimize resource allocation.

• Reconciliation & Integrity: Oversee comprehensive account reconciliations. Ensure all financial records are precise, consistent, and audit-ready at all times.

• Internal Control Framework: Design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls. Regularly audit financial processes to mitigate risk, prevent fraud, and ensure strict adherence to corporate policies and statutory regulations.

• Operational Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance team (if applicable), ensuring professional growth and high performance within the department.

• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with department heads to provide financial guidance, supporting strategic decision-making and long-term business sustainability.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or audit roles.

• Professional Certification: Membership with ICAN or ACCA is highly preferred and considered a significant advantage.

• Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, data analysis) and extensive experience with enterprise-grade accounting software.

• Analytical Acumen: Proven ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful reports for executive leadership.

• Integrity & Precision: A high standard of professional ethics, with an unwavering commitment to accuracy and regulatory compliance.

• Leadership: Ability to lead financial strategy, manage stakeholders, and drive process improvements independently.
