Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Area Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of multiple hospitality outlets within an assigned region.
• The ideal candidate will ensure operational excellence, maintain high service standards, drive profitability, and lead teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• The successful candidate must possess strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple locations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple hospitality outlets, ensuring consistency in service delivery and operational standards.
• Monitor branch performance against sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational KPIs.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and revenue generation.
• Conduct regular site visits and operational audits to ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
• Recruit, train, coach, and mentor branch managers and operational staff to enhance performance and service quality.
• Analyze financial reports, control operational costs, and implement measures to maximize profitability.
• Ensure excellent customer service by resolving escalated customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Monitor inventory levels, procurement processes, and stock management to minimize losses and wastage.
• Collaborate with HR on workforce planning, employee engagement, and performance management initiatives.
• Work closely with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and drive customer traffic.
• Prepare periodic operational reports and present business performance updates to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements within the hospitality industry.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Hotel Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in hospitality operations management, with experience supervising multiple outlets or branches.
• Proven experience in restaurant, lounge, hotel, or hospitality chain operations.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and operational costs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hospitality management/POS systems.
• Ability to travel frequently between business locations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications in Hospitality Management, Operations Management, or Business Management will be an added advantage.
• Experience managing multi-unit hospitality operations.
• Knowledge of Nigerian hospitality regulations and HSE standards.
