Job Description:

We are seeking high-potential Engineering Graduates to join our Fleet Maintenance department. This is a foundational "residency" for engineers who want to bridge the gap between academic theory and high-stakes automotive operations.

In this role, you will be embedded within our technical teams across Nigeria to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of our extensive fleet. You will assist in everything from complex electrical diagnostics to heavy mechanical overhauls. If you are a disciplined engineer with a passion for automotive systems and a drive to solve technical puzzles in real-time, this program is your launchpad.

Requirements:

1. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

  • Technical Support: Assist senior engineers in performing rigorous preventive maintenance schedules to minimize vehicle downtime.

  • System Diagnostics: Support the troubleshooting of complex mechanical and electrical faults, utilizing modern diagnostic tools and manual inspection techniques.

  • Emergency Response: Participate in rapid-response breakdown teams, learning the art of "field repair" and emergency troubleshooting.

2. Inspection, Safety & Compliance

  • Integrity Checks: Participate in routine vehicle inspections and safety audits to ensure every vehicle in the fleet meets national and company safety standards.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report recurring technical issues, helping the department identify "serial faults" that require long-term engineering solutions.

  • Safety Stewardship: Maintain a zero-compromise approach to workshop safety and environmental regulations.

3. Data Management & Technical Reporting

  • Record Integrity: Maintain accurate digital and physical maintenance logs, ensuring that every bolt turned is documented for future audit and performance analysis.

  • Resource Tracking: Assist in monitoring the usage of spare parts and lubricants, contributing to the efficient management of workshop inventory.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Experience: 0–2 years post-graduation (Entry-level candidates with strong internship experience are encouraged).

  • NYSC: Must possess a valid NYSC Completion or Exemption Certificate.

  • Mobility: Must be willing and able to work in any of the following hubs: Lagos, Abuja, Enugu, or Aba.

Core Competencies

  • Automotive Aptitude: A solid foundational understanding of how internal combustion engines, transmissions, and vehicle electrical circuits operate.

  • Analytical Thinking: The ability to look at a fault and logically deduce the root cause.

  • Resilience: Physically and mentally fit to work in a workshop environment and handle field-based emergency repairs.
