Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent, detail-oriented, and reliable Accountant to join our team in Ilorin. You will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of our operations by ensuring precise bookkeeping, accurate reporting, and strict adherence to financial policies. The ideal candidate is a numbers-driven professional who understands the importance of integrity, operational efficiency, and timely financial documentation in a fast-paced business environment.

Requirements:

• Financial Record-Keeping: Manage daily financial transactions, including posting entries for sales, purchases, payments, and receipts.

• Reconciliations: Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy across all accounts.

• Reporting & Analysis: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and budget monitoring.

• Compliance: Support statutory compliance, including the preparation and filing of VAT, WHT, PAYE, and other regulatory obligations.

• Payables & Receivables: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring invoices are verified and payments/collections are handled in a timely manner.

• Audit Support: Maintain organized financial records to ensure the business is always "audit-ready" for internal or external reviews.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience: Relevant professional experience in accounting or bookkeeping is required.
