Job Description:

We are seeking a high-impact Wholesaler Development Manager to lead our market expansion and volume growth strategy. This is not a traditional sales role; it is a mandate to build a robust, high-performing distribution network from the ground up. You will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and optimizing a massive network of wholesalers to ensure our products are ubiquitous in the marketplace. If you have the "hunter" mindset for recruitment and the analytical rigor to manage Tier 1 distributor performance, this role offers a platform for significant career impact.

Requirements:

1. Aggressive Network Expansion & Onboarding

  • Strategic Recruitment: Identify and onboard 50 new wholesalers monthly, ensuring a high-quality pipeline that meets our commercial standards.

  • Rigorous Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end documentation and "Know Your Customer" (KYC) process to ensure every partner is compliant and ready to trade.

  • Numeric Distribution: Achieve 100% numeric distribution within your territory, ensuring that our products are physically present in every viable outlet.

2. Volume Optimization & SKU Governance

  • Off-Trade Leadership: Drive a minimum of 30% of total Off-Trade volume specifically through Tier 1 wholesalers.

  • Priority SKU Management: Ensure a 3/3 presence of priority SKUs in the top-selling lists of all managed wholesalers to prevent stock-outs of high-demand items.

  • Retention Strategy: Maintain a high-engagement model to achieve an 80% repeat order rate, fostering long-term wholesaler loyalty.

3. Performance Analytics & Operational Excellence

  • NFTE Gap Closure: Monitor "Non-Financial Key Performance Indicators" (NFTE) and close performance gaps immediately to ensure field execution remains elite.

  • Crisis Resolution: Act as the primary escalation point for wholesalers, ensuring all operational and logistical issues are resolved within 48 hours.

  • Data-Driven Reporting: Submit meticulous weekly and monthly sales reports that provide visibility into volume trends, market share, and network health.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Background

  • Sector Expertise: Proven experience in FMCG sales, trade marketing, or distribution.

  • Track Record: A demonstrable history of developing wholesalers and delivering consistent volume growth in competitive markets.

  • Channel Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Off-Trade distribution landscape (Wholesalers, Open Markets, Large Retail).

  • Persuasive Negotiation: Ability to convince high-value wholesalers to prioritize our brand over competitors.
