We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

  • The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in line with established processes and food safety standards.
  • The role will focus on the timely evacuation and racking of finished goods from the factories, maintaining stock accuracy, and supporting distribution and transport functions through effective documentation and reporting.
  • The incumbent will also play a key role in optimizing resources, ensuring compliance with FIFO practices, and driving operational excellence within the warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the timely evacuation of finished goods stock from factories and proper racking in the warehouse in strict compliance with FIFO principles.
  • Oversee accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of POS material stock.
  • Maintain effective and efficient stock storage systems to safeguard quality and minimize losses.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of depot shipments, including loading and documentation.
  • Prepare and submit all required reports to Distribution and Transport Management in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Optimize the deployment of manpower and materials to achieve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety requirements, carrying out assigned responsibilities as directed by the Head of Department.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Line Manager to support warehouse and logistics operations.

Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Social Sciences or Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in Logistics operations in a manufacturing environment.
