Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned, process-driven Warehouse Manager to take full ownership of our inventory and warehouse operations. You will be the primary custodian of our stock integrity, responsible for bridging the gap between physical warehouse activities and financial reporting. This is a high-impact role for a leader who excels at enforcing internal controls, driving accuracy in an ERP-managed environment, and leading teams to meet stringent operational deadlines. If you have the analytical rigor to investigate variances and the leadership ability to ensure every movement of goods is documented, compliant, and optimized, we want you to manage our logistics backbone.

Requirements:

• Inventory Ownership: Direct the end-to-end lifecycle of goods—from inbound receipt and storage to picking, packing, dispatch, and returns—ensuring total alignment with company policies.

• Methodology & Valuation: Enforce FEFO/FIFO inventory methodologies to maintain stock quality and valuation accuracy. Lead routine cycle counts and full physical stock-takes to ensure the warehouse never deviates from the system record.

• Audit & Reconciliation: Take lead responsibility for daily cycle count reconciliations and variance investigations. Maintain all mandatory logs (GRN, dispatch, access, etc.) to ensure a bulletproof audit trail.

• Documentation & Provisioning: Manage the proper documentation of damaged, expired, or slow-moving stock, facilitating accurate financial provisioning and adjustments through the correct approval hierarchies.

• Process Optimization: Continuously monitor and refine warehouse processes within the ERP system to drive efficiency. Proactively identify operational bottlenecks and implement data-backed improvements.

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as a key partner to the Finance, Sales, and Operations teams. Provide the transparency and insights necessary to help the company meet its financial and operational targets.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Analytical Leadership: Exceptional ability to analyze stock trends, resolve complex discrepancies, and make decisive calls on write-offs and adjustments.

• Operational Discipline: High attention to detail with the ability to manage the intense pressures of month-end and year-end reporting cycles.

• Communication: Proven ability to explain inventory control concepts and financial impacts clearly to both technical warehouse staff and non-technical management teams.

• Integrity & Control: A strong commitment to internal control standards and the ability to maintain professional integrity when managing high-value inventory.
