Job Description:
We are seeking a high-autonomy, data-driven Supply Operations Manager to own the courier ecosystem across our assigned cities. In this role, you are the architect of our marketplace balance; you ensure that the right number of couriers are active, productive, and earning sustainably to meet surging demand. This is a role for a "scrappy" problem-solver who can move from a high-level Python or SQL data model to a local dispatch hub to validate insights with riders in person. If you possess a "bias for action" and can translate complex forecasting into localized operational wins, we want you to lead our supply growth.
Requirements:
1. Supply Planning & Demand Forecasting
Predictive Scaling: Partner with HQ Growth teams to forecast courier needs based on demand plans, seasonality, and high-impact special events.
Gap Analysis: Proactively identify supply deficits and execute localized interventions to ensure 100% fulfillment capabilities.
Standardization: Document operational learnings and help standardize supply best practices across diverse city clusters.
2. Courier Performance & Earnings Optimization
Behavioral Analytics: Analyze courier behavior to design initiatives that improve per-hour productivity and earnings quality.
Earnings Sustainability: Monitor and adjust incentive structures to ensure couriers earn fairly while maintaining the platform's unit economics.
On-the-Ground Validation: Spend significant time "in-city" working with riders and local teams to test interventions and adapt solutions to local realities.
3. Operational Excellence & Bottleneck Resolution
Root Cause Analysis: Identify operational friction points—from app latency to pick-up delays—and drive the execution of technical or process-driven fixes.
Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with Product, Commercial, and Support teams to align supply plans with marketing incentives and city-specific priorities.
Reporting & KPIs: Own the supply health dashboard, translating raw metrics into actionable recommendations for the executive leadership.
Qualifications and Skills:
The Ideal Profile
Experience: 2–4 years in Operations, Consulting, or high-growth Startups.
Analytical Mindset: A strong ability to turn data into operational actions, not just static reports.
Execution Track Record: A proven history of following through on projects and delivering measurable, "real-world" outcomes.
Communication: Clear, concise, and persuasive communication skills, especially when working with remote, cross-functional teams.
