Job Description:

• Manage all onshore drone activities: security, AUSEA, inspection – Coordinate daily flight schedules and adapt to operational priorities – Conduct pre-flight and post-flight equipment checks for all platforms – Supervise field team of Onshore Drone Analysts – Enforce go/no-go criteria—weather, H2S levels, access restrictions – Lead daily toolbox talks and safety briefings – Report all near-misses and safety observations to client system – Oversee RGB, IR, LiDAR, and AUSEA data acquisition quality – Liaise with Affiliate Lead on scheduling and resources requirements
• Daily Site Progress Report
• Mission Flight Plan & Risk Assessment
• AUSEA Mission Report (HQ format)
• Drone Flight Route Report – Raw Datasets
• LiDAR, AUSEA, RGB, IR – Processed GIS / Inspection Report (contributed).

Requirements:

• HND / BSc Degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years UAV field operations; 2+ years supervisory role
• Hands-on inspection drone ops (confined space & outdoor)
• Working knowledge of AUSEA methane survey protocols
• OML / flow station / CPF field operations experience preferred .

Certifications:

• Drone Pilot License (CAA) — Mandatory
• AUSEA Certification — Mandatory
• Confined Space Entry Training — Mandatory
• H2S Certification — Mandatory
• GIS / Geomatics Certification
• LiDAR / Photogrammetry Certification
• Inspection Drone Operation Training
• OEM-Specific Training (where applicable)
• Medical Fitness Certificate — Mandatory
