Job Description:
We are seeking an organized and highly accountable Store Manager to lead our operations in Lagos. You will be the custodian of our inventory, ensuring that every item, from receipt to final issuance is accounted for, stored securely, and managed with precision. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can bridge the gap between operational efficiency and financial accuracy, ensuring our supply chain remains seamless.
Requirements:
Inventory Stewardship: Oversee the end-to-end management of all store activities, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of stock.
Accuracy & Documentation: Maintain meticulous inventory records and stock movement documentation. You will lead regular stock counts, reconciliations, and audits to ensure the books match the shelves.
Supply Chain Optimization: Monitor inventory levels in real-time, coordinating with the procurement team to trigger replenishment and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
Compliance & Loss Prevention: Enforce strict inventory control procedures and safety protocols. You will investigate and resolve stock variances, losses, or discrepancies immediately.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor store personnel to ensure operational efficiency, cleanliness, and the highest standard of store organization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with the Procurement, Finance, and Operations teams to maintain data integrity and project readiness.
Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular inventory and performance reports to management to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in any discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or store management.
Location: Must reside in or within close proximity to Lekki Phase 1.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with inventory management software/ERP systems is a significant advantage.
