We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

  • We are looking for a dedicated and organized Spare Parts Warehouse Officer to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, handling incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse.
  • This role is crucial in maintaining our spare parts stock levels and supporting the overall supply chain process.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming spare parts deliveries against purchase orders.
  • Organize and store spare parts in designated warehouse locations, ensuring accurate labeling and inventory records.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare and pack orders for dispatch, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies, shortages, or surpluses.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Coordinate with the procurement and maintenance teams to ensure the availability of spare parts.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, safely and in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities, including inventory levels, shipments, and receipts

Requirements:

  • BSc or HND in any discipline. Additional qualifications in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management are an advantage.
  • Proven experience in a warehouse or inventory management role, preferably with spare parts.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment
