Job Description:

We are seeking a high-integrity, results-driven Senior Accounts & Admin Officer to serve as the financial and operational backbone of our organization. This is a critical role for a seasoned professional who can operate with total independence in a structured corporate environment. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial management—from daily cash flow monitoring to statutory tax compliance—while simultaneously ensuring that administrative workflows are seamless. If you are an analytical accountant who thrives on accuracy and is ready to take full ownership of both the ledger and the office, we want you on our leadership support team.

Requirements:

1. Financial Controllership & Statutory Compliance

  • Financial Integrity: Maintain meticulous accounting records, overseeing the full cycle of income, expenses, receivables, and payables.

  • Reporting & Audits: Prepare management-level financial summaries and schedules, ensuring the business is always "audit-ready" for external liaisons.

  • Tax & Regulatory Governance: Lead the charge on statutory compliance, ensuring all tax filings, remittances, and regulatory documentations are executed with precision and on time.

2. Operational & HR Administration

  • Office Governance: Oversee daily administrative operations, managing vendor relationships, service providers, and office logistics to ensure zero downtime in business functioning.

  • Document Custodianship: Maintain a highly organized system for contracts, correspondences, and corporate documentation.

  • HR Support: Manage essential HR administration, including staff attendance tracking, personnel records, and adherence to company policies.

3. Strategic Decision Support

  • Variance Analysis: Monitor operational expenses and provide management with timely reports highlighting risks, inefficiencies, or budgetary variances.

  • Process Innovation: Actively identify and implement improvements in accounting and administrative systems to enhance overall company efficiency.

  • Cash Flow Management: Maintain a "eagle-eye" view of bank transactions and daily liquidity to support informed management decisions.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Background

  • Education: HND or B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a structured corporate or professional services environment.

  • Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern Accounting Software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or Tally).

  • Tax Knowledge: Strong hands-on experience with Nigerian tax compliance and statutory filings.
