Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and intellectually curious Account Intern to anchor the foundational finance operations of our team. In a modern business environment, success is defined by "Data Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize daily transactions with the clinical precision required for bookkeeping and inventory reconciliation. This role is designed for a "Finance Architect in Training" who can blend "Numerical Grit" (handling ledgers and journals) with the "Operational Agility" required to support a fast-paced accounting department.
Requirements:
1. Ledger Orchestration & Record Sovereignty
Transactional Integrity: Support the data entry of financial transactions into accounting systems with millimetric precision, ensuring all ledgers and journals are up to date.
Document Architecture: Help organize and file financial documents, receipts, and invoices, creating an audit-ready "Source of Truth" for the finance department.
Bookkeeping Support: Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, learning the end-to-end lifecycle of a business transaction.
2. Financial Reporting & Reconciliation Support
Reporting Velocity: Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports and summaries, providing the team with clear insights into daily income and expenses.
Account Synergy: Support the reconciliation of bank statements and other accounts to ensure internal records perfectly align with external financial data.
Asset Stewardship: Assist with stock counts and inventory reconciliation, ensuring that the company’s physical assets are accurately reflected in the books.
3. Professional Growth & Team Diplomacy
Administrative Agility: Provide high-fidelity administrative support to the accounting team, managing finance-related duties as assigned to ensure departmental flow.
Skill Evolution: Proactively apply basic accounting principles to real-world business scenarios, evolving from a graduate to a professional practitioner.
Collaborative Integrity: Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethics, working synchronously with senior accountants to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Knowledge Base: A strong foundational understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Location: Must be able to work Full-Time Onsite in a fast-paced business environment.
