Job Description:
- As a Sales Manager for O&G service Business in Nigeria, you will be responsible for driving the sales and business development activities.
- You will play a key role in identifying and pursuing new service sales opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve sales targets.
- This role requires a good understanding of rotating machines and the ability to effectively communicate Siemens Energy value of our solutions to potential customers.
How You’ll Make an Impact
The primary responsibility of Sales Manager is to meet and exceed external customers’ expectations and internal partners, including:
- Identify business leads and sales funnel for O&G service business involving O&G Service portfolios.
- Manage all aspects of the project sale on both internal and external front, including leading technical risks, preparing technical proposals, and setting target pricing.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools to run customer interactions and data. Develop strategies for maintaining and enhancing long-term customer
- Prepare and execute high level presentations.
- Provide insights for specific verticals, such as Oil and Gas, Fertilizers, Chemicals, and other Process Industries
- Contribute and collaborate to the development of sales strategies to achieve the company's sales objectives.
- Timely documentation and record-keeping in CRM tool and team meetings
- Lead Sales approval process (LOA process)
- Conducts business affairs with the highest standards of ethics and integrity
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering and/or Business Administration with similar prior experience
- At least 5+ years of experience in a technical and Sales role.
- Demonstrated strong performance in closing orders
- Resourceful, ability to adapt as market dynamic changes
- Ability and willingness to work across different ‘verticals’
- Demonstrated strong ability to collaborate with others in a cross-cultural team environment
- Proficiency in spoken and written English language & international experience is a plus
- Strong leadership and influencing skills
- Excellent interpersonal & leadership capabilities (training / presentation, communication)
- Strong customer service orientation and extensive customer interface experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously, Ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with customers meeting commercial contractual terms within the terms of the contract
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
