Are you a results-driven professional with a background in technical sales and a passion for the energy transition? LNG Arete is seeking a dynamic Sales & Business Development Executive to join our team in Abuja or Lagos. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by positioning our suite of gas solutions including LNG, CNG, storage, and logistics as the premier cleaner, cost-effective alternative to diesel and conventional fuels.
We are looking for a strategic thinker capable of managing end-to-end B2B sales cycles, from initial prospecting to closing high-value contracts within the industrial, power, transport, and commercial sectors.
Requirements:
Business Growth: Proactively identify and close new business opportunities across the manufacturing, power, transport, and industrial sectors.
Solution Selling: Market LNG and CNG solutions as reliable, efficient replacements for diesel-dependent energy systems.
Proposal Development: Conduct energy audits to identify client needs and design tailored commercial and technical proposals.
Pipeline Management: Build and nurture a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent deal flow and long-term contract security.
Negotiation & Closing: Lead contract negotiations with executive-level stakeholders and decision-makers to secure long-term gas supply agreements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with our engineering and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions are fit-for-purpose and technically sound.
Market Intelligence: Monitor market pricing, competitor activities, and emerging industry opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Energy Management, or a related field.
Experience: 5–8 years of proven experience in oil and gas, industrial B2B sales, or technical sales.
Track Record: Demonstrated ability to originate, negotiate, and close mid-to-large ticket industrial deals.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of LNG/CNG markets, gas infrastructure, or complex energy solutions is highly preferred.
Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and C-suite executives effectively.
