Job Description:
We are looking for a professional, welcoming, and highly organized Receptionist to join our team in Omole Phase 1, Lagos. This role is the "first point of contact" for our organization—whether you are working in a hotel, restaurant, or corporate setting, you will be responsible for setting the tone for every guest and client interaction.
This position is ideal for an OND or WAEC holder with 1–3 years of experience who takes pride in their communication skills and professional appearance. We are specifically looking for candidates who live within Omole Phase 1 or the immediate environs (Ojodu, Berger, Agidingbi) to ensure punctuality and ease of commute.
Requirements:
1. Guest Experience & Front Desk Management
First Impressions: Greet all visitors, clients, and guests with a professional and friendly demeanor, ensuring they are directed to the correct person or department.
Communication Hub: Manage the switchboard by answering phone calls promptly, taking accurate messages, and transferring calls as needed.
Inquiry Resolution: Provide accurate information about the company’s services, facilities, or menu (if in a restaurant/hotel setting).
2. Administrative & Operational Support
Documentation: Maintain guest registers, appointment schedules, and visitor logs with high attention to detail.
Logistics: Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries; coordinate outgoing courier services.
Environment Control: Ensure the reception area is always clean, organized, and presentable, reflecting the high standards of the brand.
3. Security & Compliance
Access Control: Monitor people movement through the reception area and issue visitor badges or passes according to company security protocols.
Incident Reporting: Assist in coordinating emergency responses or notifying security of any suspicious activity in the lobby.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Minimum of WAEC, OND, or Trade Test.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a similar role within a Hotel, Restaurant, or Corporate Company.
Location: Candidates must reside in Omole Phase 1 or its immediate environs for ease of daily operations.
Availability: Must be ready to attend physical interviews and resume work immediately at the location.
Core Competencies
Communication: Clear and polite verbal and written English.
Organization: Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure during busy peak hours.
Professionalism: High standards of personal grooming and ethical conduct.
Tech Literacy: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel for record-keeping.
