Job Description:

• The Key Purpose of this role is to ensure the timeous receiving and issuing of raw materials to ensure uninterrupted production, to manage returns of returnable and non-returnable raw materials to production and suppliers and ensure accurate material reconciliations including stock counts.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor and control raw materials and stocks
• Receive, issue and return raw materials
• COA checks and sampling of Packaging Raw materials
• Manage SAP material movements via SAP transactions
• Picking & Staging Packaging raw materials for production
• Apply good waste management techniques
• Apply Good Housekeeping principles
• Monitor and report on, truck turnaround times, on time in full deliveries and expediting
• Administrative duties
• Liaison with internal and external customers
• Support team goals and VPO principles
• Assisting fellow team members in the execution of their tasks

Requirements:

• Min. of OND / B.Sc / HND or equivalent in the Social Sciences, Sciences or Engineering
• Stores and materials handling experience
• Computer literate (Windows, Excel, SAP)
• Two years’ experience in a logistics environment
• Good understanding of the Brewing and Packaging production processes
• Knowledge and understanding of the SAP PTP and Materials Management processes
• Licensed Forklift driver
• Knowledge of stock control & inventory systems and procedures.
