About Company:
Karishma is an established plastics manufacturer, having commenced operations eighteen years ago. Over time, we have come to be known for our uncompromising standard of quality in all our products. We produce FlowGuard® CPVC Pipes, PVC pipes, PVC conduit pipes, and HDPE water storage tanks.
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Control (QC) Associate to join our manufacturing facility. In a high-output production environment, quality is our signature. Your role is to serve as the final line of defense, ensuring that every material, component, and finished product meets our rigorous internal standards and regulatory requirements.
As a QC Associate, you will be deeply embedded in the production flow—conducting precise tests, calibrating sensitive equipment, and identifying potential defects before they reach our customers. If you have a "zero-defect" mindset and a passion for continuous improvement in manufacturing, we want you to help us uphold the highest standards of product excellence.
Requirements:
1. Inspection, Testing & Calibration
In-Process Audits: Perform regular inspections and testing of raw materials and finished goods to ensure they align with company and regulatory benchmarks.
Equipment Stewardship: Conduct routine calibration and maintenance of testing instruments to ensure that all data captured is accurate and reliable.
Non-Conformance Identification: Monitor the production line to identify deviations early, suggesting immediate corrective actions to prevent waste or safety hazards.
2. Documentation & Regulatory Compliance
Precise Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed quality logs, ensuring that all records are "audit-ready" and compliant with industry safety protocols.
Reporting & Collaboration: Translate technical findings into clear reports for the Production Manager and work alongside the operations team to resolve quality bottlenecks.
Data Transparency: Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, SharePoint) to manage and share quality metrics across the organization.
3. Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement
Defect Investigation: Participate in the investigation of quality complaints or product defects, using analytical tools to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
Process Optimization: Assist in developing and implementing new QC procedures that enhance production efficiency without compromising on safety or quality.
Industry Intelligence: Stay updated on shifting regulatory standards and new testing technologies to keep the facility competitive.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (A degree or certification in Quality Control, Science, or Engineering is preferred).
Experience: Proven experience as a QC Associate or QA Technician within a manufacturing or production environment.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with precision measurement tools, testing equipment, and calibration standards.
Software: Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data logging and reporting.
Core Competencies
Keen Eye for Detail: Ability to spot subtle imperfections or process deviations that others might miss.
Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to coordinate with cross-functional production teams.
Problem-Solving: The ability to think critically and resolve quality issues effectively under production pressure.
Integrity: A steadfast commitment to upholding quality even when faced with tight production deadlines.
