Job Description:

We are seeking a precise and technically minded Quality Control Inspector to join our team across our Lagos and Sagamu operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet our rigorous quality and safety standards. You will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our production line, from raw materials to final delivery.

Requirements:

• Product Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet specified technical requirements.

• Standards Compliance: Verify that all production activities adhere to internal quality protocols and industry-standard safety regulations.

• Testing & Measurement: Utilize precision measuring tools and diagnostic equipment to evaluate the mechanical integrity and functionality of components.

• Defect Reporting: Identify, document, and report any discrepancies or defects, working closely with the production team to implement immediate corrective actions.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed quality logs, inspection reports, and compliance certificates for all audited batches.

• Process Improvement: Collaborate with the engineering team to identify recurring quality issues and suggest improvements to the manufacturing process to minimize waste and errors.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• Experience: Proven experience in a quality control, inspection, or manufacturing role within an industrial environment.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

  • Proficiency in using precision instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).

  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and safety protocols.

• Core Competencies:

  • Attention to Detail: An uncompromising eye for identifying deviations from standards.

  • Analytical Thinking: Capability to troubleshoot quality issues and determine root causes.
