Job Description:

We are seeking a results-driven and analytical Project Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO) in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. The successful candidate will lead IT projects through the full life cycle, ensuring delivery remains within scope, budget, and timeline while adhering to industry best practices. You will serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders, vendors, and the project team to drive high-performance outcomes.

Requirements:

• Strategic Planning: Define project objectives, scope, and roles. Outline detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure all milestones are met.

• Resource Management: Predict and allocate resources (internal and third-party) effectively to optimize delivery.

• Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Communicate project status consistently to stakeholders. Manage vendor contracts and deliverables to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

• Risk & Quality Oversight: Proactively identify project risks, mitigate potential issues, and adjust schedules or budgets as necessary. Maintain strict quality control throughout execution.

• Performance Monitoring: Measure performance against KPIs and industry standards, providing detailed reporting to leadership and identifying areas for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

• Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in IT project management.

• Certifications: Professional certification required (PMP, Prince2, or AgilePM).

• Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with PM tools, methodologies, and full-lifecycle project execution.

• Soft Skills:

  • Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Expertise in creative problem-solving, conflict resolution, and risk identification.

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams.

  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and time management skills.
