Job Description:

- At Crown interactive, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to join our team.
- In this role, you will be responsible for leading the product lifecycle from conception to launch, ensuring our products meet the needs of our customers and align with the company's strategic objectives.
- You will also work cross-functionally to complete product roadmaps and discover new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision:
- Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned with government digital transformation goals and enterprise needs.
- Translate public sector policies, regulatory requirements, and institutional goals into scalable digital products.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps for SaaS and enterprise platforms, ensuring alignment with business strategy and client priorities.
- Balance long-term platform scalability with short-term government project deliverables.
Stakeholder & Government Engagement:
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and government stakeholders (MDAs, regulators, parastatals).
- Gather and document requirements from public sector clients, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and compliance.
- Manage expectations across ministries, agencies, enterprise clients, partners, and internal leadership.
- Facilitate workshops, product demos, and stakeholder alignment sessions.
Requirements & Product Definition:
- Translate business, policy, and operational requirements into detailed product requirements documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on impact, urgency, compliance needs, and value to government and enterprise users.
- Ensure products support multi-tenancy, configurability, and scalability typical of SaaS and enterprise environments.
- Define product success metrics and KPIs.
Regulatory, Compliance & Security Alignment:
- Ensure products comply with government regulations, data protection laws, and industry standards (e.g., data privacy, security, auditability).
- Work closely with legal, compliance, and security teams to embed regulatory requirements into product design.
- Support certifications, audits, and government technology standards where required.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with engineering, UX/UI, QA, DevOps, sales, and customer support teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Work with design teams to ensure user-centered solutions that address diverse government and enterprise user groups.
- Partner with sales and business development teams to support proposals, RFPs, and product positioning.
- Support implementation and rollout planning for large-scale government deployments.
Product Development & Delivery:
- Own the product backlog and lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning.
- Ensure timely delivery of product features while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
- Manage dependencies across multiple products, modules, and client deployments.
- Monitor development progress and address risks or blockers proactively.
SaaS & Platform Management:
- Oversee SaaS platform evolution, including feature releases, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
- Ensure platform reliability, performance, and scalability for enterprise and government use cases.
- Drive adoption of reusable components and shared services across products.
- Support pricing, packaging, and licensing models appropriate for government and enterprise customers.
Go-to-Market & Product Adoption:
- Support product launches, change management, and user onboarding strategies for government and enterprise clients.
- Develop product documentation, release notes, and training materials.
- Work with marketing and sales teams to communicate product value propositions.
- Gather post-deployment feedback and drive continuous improvement.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement:
- Track product performance, user adoption, and operational metrics.
- Analyze feedback from government agencies and enterprise clients to identify improvement opportunities.
- Continuously refine product features based on data, usage patterns, and policy changes.
- Identify opportunities for innovation in government digital services.
Leadership & Ownership:
- Act as the product owner with end-to-end accountability from ideation to delivery and optimization.
- Mentor junior product team members where applicable.
- Champion best practices in product management within the organization.
- Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Requirements:
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term plans and strategies for product success.
- Market Research: Proficiency in analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Project Management: Strong skills in managing projects, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Technical Understanding: Knowledge of technology and product development processes to effectively collaborate with engineering teams.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate product vision, requirements, and updates clearly.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, measure performance, and make data-driven decisions.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and obstacles that arise during the product lifecycle.
- Leadership: Capability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
- Metric driven: Strong analytical and synthesis skills are a must , including the ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable information
Qualifications and Skills:
- A Good University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business-related field with at least 4 - 5 years experience in product management
- Experience managing SAAS and Enterprise Software Solutions and Technology Products is a must have
- Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision making.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and agile methodologies.
- Proven ability to develop and implement product strategies that deliver business results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Proficient in productivity applications such as Microsoft office such as Excel, Microsoft Visio, Project Management tools
- Business analysis skills will be an added advantage
- Efficient in using collaboration and CRM tools such as Slack and JIRA, Google Analytics, Data Analytics.
