Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity Operations Manager to lead our end-to-end logistics and fleet operations. In this role, you will be the engine of our service delivery, responsible for the seamless coordination of transportation, distribution, and fulfillment across a fast-paced environment.

As the operational lead, you will bridge the gap between client expectations and vendor performance. You are not just a supervisor; you are a process improver tasked with reducing costs, optimizing fleet utilization, and leading a high-performing team. If you have 4–6 years of experience in the logistics sector and a proven ability to manage risk while hitting aggressive KPIs, we want you to drive our operational excellence.

Requirements:

1. Fleet & Logistics Orchestration

• End-to-End Scheduling: Plan and monitor daily transportation and distribution schedules to ensure 100% on-time delivery.

• Fleet Optimization: Supervise fleet utilization, maintenance planning, and driver performance to maximize vehicle uptime and ensure strict safety compliance.

• Fulfillment Lifecycle: Coordinate with clients and internal teams to resolve bottlenecks and ensure every order is fulfilled with precision.

2. Performance & Process Innovation

• KPI Governance: Monitor operational KPIs (Turnaround Time, Fuel Efficiency, Cost-per-Delivery) and provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.

• Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean or Six Sigma-style process improvements to eliminate waste, reduce operational costs, and boost productivity.

• Risk & Compliance: Manage resource allocation and mitigate operational risks while ensuring total adherence to regulatory and safety policies.

3. Leadership & Resource Management

• Budgetary Control: Manage the logistics unit's budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and financial discipline.

• Team Empowerment: Lead, train, and motivate the operations staff, fostering a culture of accountability and goal achievement.

• Stakeholder Synergy: Maintain strong relationships with vendors and external partners to ensure service quality and cost-effective procurement.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: 4 – 6 years of progressive experience in Logistics or Operations management (prior managerial experience is highly preferred).

• Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and specialized Transport Management Systems (TMS) or ERPs.
