About Company:
Velvot Group - We are a specialized Microsoft Partner IT company delivering cloud, cybersecurity, and modern workplace solutions.
We are recruiting to fill the position above.
Job Description:
We are seeking a high-caliber Chief Operating Officer (COO) to serve as the operational architect of our IT services firm. In this pivotal role, you will be the "Integrator," partnering with the CEO to transform high-level vision into a high-velocity, cross-functional operating plan.
As the primary decision-maker for daily execution, you will own the full P&L, overseeing the entire lifecycle of our commercial and technical operations. You are a "bilingual" leader—equally comfortable discussing Azure architecture with engineers and P&L margins with the Board. If you have a proven track record of scaling Microsoft Partner designations and optimizing MSP (Managed Service Provider) models, we invite you to lead our team to the next level of growth.
Requirements:
1. Commercial Growth & GTM Velocity
Revenue Accountability: Own the full P&L. Directly supervise Sales and Marketing to optimize pipeline velocity and customer acquisition costs (CAC).
CRM Governance: Enforce the CRM as the single source of truth for forecasting, ensuring that Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) convert seamlessly into Professional Services projects.
Pricing Strategy: Package Microsoft solutions (Azure, M365, Security) into profitable, standardized service offerings that are easy to sell and repeatable to deliver.
2. Technical Delivery & Operational Excellence
Service Oversight: Lead Managed Services, Professional Services, and the Support Desk, ensuring 100% SLA adherence and high utilization rates.
Scalable Methodologies: Implement ITIL and Agile frameworks to ensure the firm can scale its project volume without a linear increase in administrative overhead.
Margin Optimization: Rigorously monitor project margins, ensuring that technical delivery is as efficient as it is innovative.
3. Microsoft Ecosystem & Partner Management
Strategic Alliances: Own the relationship with Microsoft and key OEMs. Maintain and upgrade our Microsoft Solutions Partner designations (Infrastructure, Security, Modern Work).
Co-Sell Orchestration: Operationalize the Microsoft "co-sell" motion, equipping internal teams to win and close Microsoft-led opportunities.
CSP Management: Manage vendor agreements to maximize margins on Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) licensing and Azure consumption.
4. Talent Supply Chain & Culture
Architectural Bench: Oversee recruitment and development to maintain a healthy "supply chain" of certified architects and engineers.
Commercial Accountability: Drive a culture where engineering teams understand the direct business impact of their delivery efficiency and billable hours.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Industry Experience: 10+ years in the IT Services or Technology sector.
Leadership Track Record: Proven experience as a COO, GM, or Sales Director specifically within a Microsoft Partner environment.
P&L Mastery: Demonstrated ability to manage full P&L with accountability for both top-line revenue and bottom-line margins.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred.
Core Competencies
Ecosystem Expertise: Deep understanding of Microsoft CSP, Azure consumption models, and M365 licensing.
Governance IQ: Experience with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials.
High EQ: Expert at managing the natural tension between Sales (speed) and Delivery (quality).
Data-Driven: Proficiency in board-level reporting and utilizing data dashboards over "gut feel."
