In the world of HIV, TB, OVC, and KP programming, data is more than just numbers—it is the evidence that drives life-saving interventions. This role requires a professional who can bridge the gap between field-level data collection and high-level donor reporting. If you have a proven track record of managing complex datasets for international donors and a passion for strengthening community health systems, we want you on our team.
Requirements:
1. Framework Development & Impact Analytics
Strategic Oversight: Collaborate with the M&E team to design and implement robust M&E frameworks that track program effectiveness across the intervention lifecycle.
Data Intelligence: Lead the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to measure program outcomes, ensuring that every data point reflects the true impact on the community.
Capacity Building: Identify technical gaps within the team and provide hands-on M&E training to staff and partners to improve the quality of field reporting.
2. Stakeholder Governance & Compliance
Donor Relations: Build and maintain high-trust relationships with key partners and donors, ensuring all activities align with specific donor requirements (e.g., USAID, Global Fund).
Regulatory Adherence: Ensure total compliance with organizational policies and international regulatory standards for public health programming.
Reporting Excellence: Prepare and present sophisticated performance reports to management and donors, translating raw data into actionable insights and success stories.
3. Project Leadership & Coordination
Cross-Functional Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing cross-functional teams to ensure milestones are met on time and within scope.
Record Integrity: Maintain meticulous records of program activities, ensuring data is verifiable for internal and external audits.
Qualifications and Skills:
Academic & Residential Criteria
Education: Minimum of a BSc/HND in Statistics, Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Residency: Mandatory residency within Mainland LGA or its immediate environs in Lagos.
Professional Experience
Sector Expertise: At least 3 years of experience in an NGO environment specifically focused on HIV, TB, OVC (Orphans and Vulnerable Children), and KP (Key Populations) programming.
Grant Experience: Prior experience managing USAID or Global Fund grants is a significant competitive advantage.
Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel is essential). Familiarity with health informatics tools (e.g., DHIS2) is preferred.
Core Competencies
Analytical Rigor: Ability to identify trends, outliers, and patterns in complex public health datasets.
Attention to Detail: Precision in reporting to ensure donor trust and program continuity.
Team Leadership: Strong ability to mentor staff and manage stakeholders across different levels of the intervention.
